What about Street Fighter 2? That game became popular because of a bug (and invented an entire genre because of said bug.) That future content is just as likely to make the game worse as it could make the game better (and if the past updates have indicated anything that is a 50/50 split.) IF you're saying WE should give a game bonus points for having hypothetical content, then I simply can't agree. None of this has anything to do with what we are talking about. Will people excitedly wait for updates and new content? Absolutely The only thing I have done was corrected the falsehood that DST has more content. Not once have I made the claim to which game was better. I liked Hamlet, Shipwrecked, Reign of Giants and even sandbox/adventure mode but I still think DST is better. If we look at this purely financially and take out multiplayer DS+DLC is inarguably more bang for your buck. That depends entirely on how much you weigh multiplayer. Because maybe giving content to a game that people can enjoy with others online (or even alone) is worth more attention in financial way than an older singleplayer game?
